I live in Southfields and would definitely be up for a dig in South West London.

Hola Banditos!  Grin
Very pleased to meet you both!
I have lived in Battersea for almost 26 years and I went to school in Tooting, so I am really looking forward to beautifying our patch! Like you said Jake, the estates in Battersea could so with some TLC, and I was also thinking we could get our green fingers on the areas around Clapham Junction and/or the High Street in Tooting... are there even any planting spots on that High Street?!  Wink
Im also going to try and get some of mi amigos, who are not guerillas (yet!) to come along...
As for the logistics of these sorties... do you guys know the protocal?!...
Thanks for replying, Lizzie and Jake!

I live by Clapham junction station so let me know when you have decided a spot and I'll see if I can make it.

I think the first thing you need to do is choose exactly where you want to plant, then;
Decide on what plants etc you are going to put in and see if anyone else can provide any plants/materials, then;
Choose a date....

I am no expert though!

Hello fellow battersea residents

I live in the Ethelburga Tower, between Battersea Bridge Road and Albert Bridge Road. There are a lot of very neglected planters around the block, either overgrown or almost bare.
Over the last year I have been planting bulbs and clearing out rubbish. This weekend I got a load of marigolds and sage from Richard's recycled garden at Hampton Court and these have gone into one of the planters on the south side of the building, however they are just a tiny patch within the wilderness and loads more plants are needed to make any real impact.

You are all welcome to come and help me sort out the rest of them!

Interested in a Wandsworth/Battersea dig. Not done one before and only really known lawns, appreciate taking part in a dig if one is happening with folk that can provide a useful tutorial or a pint to get soem notes on tips, tricks, and what to bring to digs etc.

Hej,

This is a little short notice but I am coming to London tomorrow to pick up a friend and I have 20 +plants/shrubs/trees from a gardening job that my boss wanted to throw away!!!

So I've grabbed them and want to give them a chance -  think we will head to Ethelburga Tower, between Battersea Bridge Road and Albert Bridge Road and see if we can do some planting there?

My name is Ben and my number is 07794076717, it'll be around 9.30 ish in the morning so please give me a call if you would like to come join.

Many thanks

Amigos!
