A hypothetical situation, given the desperation of people living with a food shortage: 

I wonder if some GG plantings would be overlooked if they mimicked the plants around them.  Though I don't see it as a good idea to plant carrots next to a road and they might hybridize with the wild carrot, Queen Anne's Lace, planting carrots in a field with markers near the ground might give the food plants among the wildflowers some natural camouflage.  People will not likely take something they don't know the identity of, but if you put it there, you know.  Chives could be easily missed in a lawn of grass and rhubarb is easily out of edible context if planted near a forest.  Whatever was planted should be carefully managed so it does not overtake the wild areas, though.

What other kinds of lookalikes can we come up with?
