I'm in CT too,  and I've just come across Guerrilla Gardening, I must say it is a great and novel idea! Looking forward to joining a project!

Dear SA Guerrilla Gardeners,

My name is Verity Willcocks and I am a gardening enthusiast who is writing an article about Guerilla Gardening for the South African environmental magazine 'Simply Green' (www.simplygreen.co.za).  I think it is a very inspiring, positive idea and I really want to educate the South African public about this horticultural revolution! I hope it will motivate people to care for neglected open spaces across the country and encourage the growing of indigenous plants and food gardens.

I am looking for Guerrilla Gardeners in South Africa who would be happy to answer some questions on email about their thoughts  regarding Guerrilla Gardening. I am also on the look out for any good photos that could support the article. I am also keen to head out and do some Guerrilla Gardening myself if there are any takers (I'm in Johannesburg)?!

My deadline for the article is the end of this month so any information/advice/contacts would be very much appreciated!!!

Thank you so much for your time.  I hope you have a beautiful day!

Kind Regards

Verity Willcocks (veritywillcocks@gmail.com)

Hi!
I'm trying to get a guerrilla gardening project up and running in Cape Town! And if there is anyone out there who is willing to running around Cape Town at 3 in the morning strapping tins of plant to innocent lamppost or dig up pavement to make way for a beautiful garden! please let me know! It would be amazing.
I have already gone out running around, if you want to have a look at what the vibes is  go to secretgardern-er.tumblr.com
 Wink

Thank you
