plant species, even yew trees...

time to get started, it's february and some flowers start
blooming in a few weeks, others need to be planted already

hello. one more Smiley. great huh?! the more the merrier.

i'm a gardening student and a friend who figured i might be interested in this sent over a link... she was right, it's rigth up my alley! have never done any guerilla gardening myself though, not yet anyhow.

i currently live outside of g?vle but i will be moving back home to gothenburg this summer. i guess us operating from different citites will ensure a more widespread effect. sounds good to me  Grin.

and, i see there's another 'gothenburgian' on the list - cool!

Great, two from Gothenburg, and three from the Malm?-Lund-area! Partners in crime for everyone, haha  Grin

Anyone, feel free to add me on msn messenger (spooky_mls@hotmail.com), it's easier to talk and discuss there, so we can get some guerilla action going Smiley

Heja heja! Vore mycket roligare att ha n?n att plantera tillsammans med ju!

Hello.

I am an American journalist writing a story for the New York Times Magazine about guerilla gardening. If you plan to get a group going in Sweden I may like to fly there and tag along for my story. Please contact me at moo.jon (at) gmail.com, or else I will keep checking back on this forum.

yours,
Jon

Come on guys!

It's not that difficult!

This Jon guy (hi!  Wink ) wants to write an article, and I actually got a proposal from a woman on SVT who wants to do a clip on guerilla gardening for her program, and we have nothing to show or tell either of them!

I mean, even if you're not up for that, at least you're up for some gardening, right? I even found a great spot in Lund to start in!  Roll Eyes

(for those non-swedes who might read this, SVT is sort of our version of BBC)

Wonder how many of you are also members in the 'official' gardening associastions?

Happy Growing season..Mirra

hi guys, i just registered! i live in gothenburg now, and became interested in this because of a schoolthing where i intended to write about DIY-culture, street art or something, and then i found this! amazing. there's a workshop organized by V?rldskulturmus?et in may, did you see that? not very guerilla maybe..  Roll Eyes

i'm probably moving to malm? this fall, and it would be great to be a part of the planting-action there.

take care.

Hi, stockholm represented, anyone else from this part of sweden?
Lets get something started!
Guerilla gardening is wonderful, but one thing that strike me is that seems to be a lot of flowers, and not so much vegetables and fruit planting going on... l?t oss sl? tv? flugor i en sm?ll, as we say in sweden! Or in plain english; lets take guerilla gardening to another level, plant for beauty and plant for food. It will be needed, as foodprices are rising!

Semilla!
Exactly what we do, we plant perennial fruits nuts and berries, for people to enjoy, more and more yield every year!!

We are a lose group based in Stockholm that have just started with the planting of two fruit trees in an ugly public area and potatoes in "rabbatter"
Just contact me, immediately!! We need MORE power!

Here is another trooper in Stockholm! I will follow the links on your previous messages and see if I can find any actions in my area.

I just saw the instructional video about seed bombs and I cannot wait to start manufacturing those little geezers.  Wink

Hope to see you out there - or at least that you guys have also been here and there planting stuff!

Hej allihopa!
I also have just discovered Guerrilla Gardening and am looking forward to getting started! I live in Gothenburg but I am down in Lund a lot on weekends (to visit my dear boyfriend) so if people are planning something there too I would love to go! Next time I will be in Lund is 25th/26th April...

In Gothenburg I live at the bottom of ?rgryte, near Kalleb?cks M?tet and I want to get something started there. There's a long bit of dirt by the motorway and it's just so sad that it's been left barren! Anyone in Gothenburg want to join?
