No,not like that. Like THIS!!!

wandering past the flower sellers pre-Christmas, I picked up a few, (several) sprigs of, and individual berries of mistletoe.



and I brought them around to two remaining apple trees in the area. (one was vandalised, hacked at, at the base and fell over, recently) where I made a slit in the bark and stuck the seeds inside...


Gerrin der...!!!  Wink  ahem...

and I put some more in a second tree just to increase my chances of success.  You can see an evergreen oak in the background...

I think the only thing I succeeded in doing is damaging the bark.
