I've a red George VI post box at the end of my road. The PO tried to close it when it's neighbouring Post Office closed. I'm adopting it with a view to sprucing it up and planting seeds there. It seems to me that unless we use these red boxes, these anacranisms of a by gone age will disappear forever. Like many species of flora and fauna are post boxes becoming extinct too, replaced by email? Has anyone else got a post box they'd like to adopt. Our post boxes could send mail to eachother.

Grin Meadow seed mix distributed on Saturday night around my adopted pillar box. Good amount of rain should've watered them in nicely. Fingers crossed!
