So these are my mission statements (I'm copy & pasting them as my computer hates me)

Why we do it
Many places in public that are owned by the council or private companies are not looked after properly or at all in some cases, this can be for many reasons including:-
A lack of awareness of the area & it?s state
A lack of finances
It?s not high on the priority list
This area has no for it?s updating for at least 2 years & with the way the Birmingham City Council is having to make cuts may even be longer still. With the Coalition Government opting for/forcing the Big Society among us we can take action & make this a better place for all. Is it too much for us to have a Gay Scene to be proud of, I think not, so lets plant a brighter future for the area & hide the industrial nature of the area with a beautiful garden to share it?s delights with the world.

How to Help
We are constantly looking for new members & supporters, so if you have the time or the resources to help us please let us know. We are looking for three types of people.
Active Members
These are the people who go out there & dig, we plant & weed areas, water plants, plant management, do litter picks and are the first line in action for the gardening projects.
Maintaining Members
These people water & do litter picks when possible, this help maintains the beauty of the area & health of the plants.
Supportive Members
Supportive members don?t physically take part in the planting or maintaining but can help by providing extra plants or if local, providing a water point where we can fill up from to water plants.

Our Mission
To brighten up the Gay Scene for all to enjoy, making it a beautiful relaxing place to be, so that encourages more people to the area & make it a Gay Scene to be Proud of aesthetically as well as through it?s friendliness
To encourage wildlife in the area, including:-
bees which are on the decline, but are needed to pollinate crops & flowers
lacewings, hoverflies & ladybirds which eat aphids.
To involve people who are new to gardening, to encourage them to get out there & garden more, brighten up their own green patches if all they have is a concrete yard.
To give people who don?t have gardens an opportunity to have a go
To have fun & meet new people
