Hello!

This is Diet coke in Tokyo.

I picked up some fruits in one of the famous Japanese gardens in Tokyo, "Shinjuku Gyoen " 2 years ago.  I planted them in pots and they are growing on my balcony and I don't know the names of these trees or how tall the trees are going to be.

I'm thinking of planting these trees somewhere in Tokyo as a guerrilla gardener.
Is it a good idea to plant trees? or Should I plant small plants?

I would appreciate receiving some advice.

Thank you very much,

Diet coke

Genki Diet Coke,

could you go back to the garden and take a look at the plants you got the seeds from. That would give you the best and easiest solution to your question. Or, maybe you could post a photo of the plants as they are now, maybe someone could recognise them by their leaves.

Hello Tampopo

Thank you for your good advice.
The park is huge and I don't know which area I picked up the fruits from.
But I'll go to the park, look at the trees which they were from.

I sometimes pick up  fruit and seeds in parks and on pavements and keep them in my pockets. Then I throw them away when I find soil not concrete.
I think this is a kind of guerrilla gardening.

Also thank you for the article. I think it was a happy but sad story. I hope people there can get some seeds or babies from the agave.

Matane,
