Can anyone offer any advice on spreading wild blackberries and plum trees from an area where they're plentiful to areas where theres none?

Will throwing a load of blackberries be enough?
Will throwing a load plum stones be enough?

Or am I going to have to grow some seedlings are plant them?

Easiest way with the blackberries is to bend one of the long shoots down to the ground and fasten it there, it'll produce new roots where there are leaves connected to the ground. When it's rooted, you can dig it up and move it.

Here's a pic to show you what I mean!
