Thanks Tampopo....am very proud of them cos they brighten up the area!    Smiley Smiley Smiley

Yes, it really is Anfield, if you want the precise location it's St Domingo Vale, just off Belmont Road, almost opposite Anfield Stadium.

Wondered if anybody else had any pics from the Big May 1st  International Sunflower Sowing?

Well, after yesterday's win....what better way to celebrate than by doing a bit of winter planting....pansies, wallflowers, evening primrose, garden mint (spreads like crazy and the bees will love it next year), sage, rosemary cuttings (about 27 , should get at least one to root!!   Roll Eyes ) , forget-me-not plants and RED tulips!!

Next week ....will be mainly planting..... daffodils and bluebells....  it's not too late!!   Smiley

More forget-me-nots, raspberry canes, tulips, daffs and narcissi planted today. May try dogwood cuttings (red of course!) and put in another rhubarb crown.   Smiley

heya,
no, what I meant was, I've taken three photos of troughs.  I thought I'd posted them in this thread, must'nt have. These are across town from me, near my sister's place.

I'll look in the RoI board and see where they are. . . or maybe they're just not posted. I forget!!!!

Ah, here we are. Hadn't I posted them before?Huh

It's official. I'm going to try and get to a game at Anfield in the new year.  Let me know if you're around to give me a tour, or just to do a spot of seed bombing or something....

Aw, thanks Tampopo for getting in touch! Shame about the game today...my son let me know the score! I don't work in Anfield anymore, it'd be good to know if the planters are being attended to, I'll try and find out, the planters are  at Love and Joy Ministries, a gospel based Community Church on Oakfield Road. My only work now is legit gardening at St Michaels Station, Merseyrail approved!!! Glad to know you're still keeping up the good work. Best wishes!  Smiley
