This reply comes probably too late for your article, but you should check Dodo.ry, they do GG, among other things, in Helsinki!

-How long have you been guerilla gardening?
Started 5-6 years ago
-How did you first get involved in guerilla gardening?
A personal response to mono-culture forests
-What does guerilla gardening mean for you?
Existential angst. Planting mixed forests within mon-culture and taking on an urban wasteland
-What role does the question of responsibility play in guerilla gardening?
Eco-ideology
-How do you think guerrilla gardening changes the public sphere/public
perception of the urban surrounding?
Most people in Finland can't understand it. In Helsinki they naturally thionk that any work is that of the parks department.
-What does guerilla gardening mean for Finland. What are the main aims?
Taking one's own initiative rather than relying on the state.
-How does guerilla gardening work with Finland's 'Everyman's Right' concept?
Brilliantly! - walk anywhere and plant just about anywhere.
-How does the guerilla gardening community relate to the general public?
Not sure what the "GG community" in Finland is. The admirable DoDo is sadly seen as a bit hippy or even mad.
-How does the "public" react to your work?
They don't know!
-What's your preferred form of guerilla gardening? Flowers or food?
Trees and wild flowers and berry bushes
-What?s your best/worst/most memorable guerilla gardening experience?
I have tens of 5-metre tall trees growing in the countryside and smaller ones on an urban wasteland
-What is a prime example/recognizable example of guerilla gardening in
Helsinki?
DoDo's vegetable gardens in Keski Pasila
-How can people get involved?
DoDo is the best voluntary group - I work on my own.
-Any tips for aspiring guerilla gardeners?
Pick a site have an idea and just do it!
-What is the future of guerilla gardening?
Excellent!
-Any thing else you think might be worth mentioning!
Prepare for failure - people destroy your work, crops fail, trees die. But don't give up!
