HANGING GARDENS IN NYC
« on: June 03, 2010, 08:24:45 PM »
Dear Guerillas

I work with a firm called Woolly Pocket, which creates recycled, wall mounted pockets in which to grow plants and vegetables.

I'm heading a new public encounters programme for Woolly Pocket here in NYC, on four different blocks.
It is my aim to have four hanging gardens growing on four different blocks in the city, on chain link fencing, scaffolding, advertising boards, very much in the guerrilla style, a programme that works hand in hand with our School Garden Initiative.
We're shooting for June 15.

To manage the project smoothly I need 15 gardeners, each receiving a stipend of $100, plus ten woolly pockets for their work
which shouldn't be more than a couple hours a day, once or twice a week.

Please let me know if you have a few hands to spare for the duration of the project, one month.

Thank you kindly

Kyle
