I'm looking for ideas of the best seeds to include  for planting along some pretty polluted urban streams in central Virginia.  Any pointers of where to look for what plants are best for cleaning/restoring stream water quality?  Would love to create seed bombs for local actions.

Disney and NASA have discovered that the water hyacinth is extremely efficient at sewage filtration , you would have to look very carefully at its spreading habits before releasing into the wild for fear of releasing an invasive plant .google it . Smiley
