Edible Parks

We with You could forest garden parks, by planting edible trees, shrubs and plants in them.

Can seedball to make for easier propagation.

Parks are public property, and visitors appreciate an edible park experience.

Plant lots and have enough for everyone.

I wrote an essay on the prospects for forest gardens in towns and cities in britian. not totally academic, it was an entry essay for an Msc course. Anyway if you wanted to have a read i would be more than happy to send it to you! It got me accepted so can't be too bad.....Didn't mention GGing but am currently writing essay for class on the future prospects on urban greening in britian and will be quoting richards book quite a bit. Also on public perceptions of urban trees in britian.....wonder if i should post a general question on the board......... Huh

I AGREE...municipal planting should all encourage wildlife and edibles where appropriate - pollution is to be considered but in moderation, dog poo is a bigger issue**
