I would like to join up with other Arlington people - I didn't know there were any others of us, and I struck out on my own (well, with a little help).  I just did my first project today and it was great fun!

here are some photos from our little flowerbed:

before:

after:

(pansies and mums for some fall color)

we decided to start small and safe, by doing a little beautification in a neglected area near our favorite coffee shop - that way we will be able to check on it, tend to it, etc.  also, relatively low risk.

it went great, so we may be expanding and/or going elsewhere.

Hello DC,

Please contact me if you are interested in a few covert operations in the Dupont/ Logan/ Mount Pleasant area... I am having a meeting next Saturday. Feel free to contact me just to share war stories too... the pleasant, green kind I mean.

Cheers to smelling the roses,
Michelle

I live in Fairfax Virginia and work in Vienna Virginia.  There is a pond I do guerilla gardening at and around.  I also
do a lot of cleanup.  I would love to have a partner in crime.

Hi, a friend's mother has been doing her own guerilla gardening in her neighborhood. I want to get her some help. Anyone interested in pitching in on a guerrilla gardening project on the SE DC and Maryland border? Her current project is to beautify a local bus stop. Please let me know. Thanks!
