Hi, I've spotted a plot over by my house in the Pacific-Edison neighborhood of Glendale that I want to garden at. It's a huge plot by the freeway off ramp that is generally private since motorists are in a hurry to notice and businesses are closed on weekends and after hours. Anyone interested in scoping out this land and coming up with a plan of action? My bf and I want to come up with some cheap raised beds and plant drought resistant and fall crops of veggies. But there is plenty of space for someone to tend to their own garden too. Please let me know.
Here is an old pic of it. It's currently overgrown, with trash, but lots of rotting leaves which should make for good soil.
