I am going on the Fourth Plinth 4-5pm next Sunday (26th July), and I am going to attempt to make (and distribute) seed bombs. Never made them before, any advice on where to get clay dust from? Will dust from potters clay be ok?  Any advice/support on the day welcome. Thanks.

they need at least 48 hours to dry. you may want to do a test run before you get on the plinth. good luck!

Thanks for the good wishes. I am going on the plinth uninitiated in the ways of making seed bombs as I think it may be more interesting (and amusing for my family) to see me make a bit of a mess, but hopefully come out at the end with something viable. We'll see!

About 10 seed bombs successfully made on the Plinth, bagged with full instructions and handed out when I got down.

Fantastic! Well done:) I may head to the Fourth Plinth site and have a look-see at it in action!
Was it hard to get the seed bombs to stick together?

If you do watch my film I suggest you do a lot of fast forwarding -I wasn't very communicative!
The bombs stuck together really well, I just hope they held as they dried out.
