Hi All!

I've organising  an event for easter monday 13th April 2009, I'm hoping to make this a big event so please bring friends!  Hopefully we will get some good media coverage

Details are:

Guerrilla Gardening Dublin - Easter Monday 13th April

Hit squad to meet at Booterstown DART and move to secret location

Organised by Cllr. Ruair? Holohan - Green Party Blackrock

Time:  12:00 - 15:00, 13 April 2009

Location:    meet at car park beside Booterstown DART station 12pm

Event Description:

Guerrilla commando gardeners to rendezvous at car park beside Booterstown DART station at 12 hundred hours.....yea thats midday. Troops to move to secret location.

Mission is to transform neglected piece of wasteland into heavenly garden.

Bring bedding plants, flowers, small trees, bushes etc....anything you have or can afford to buy. Don't forget your gloves and a trowel!

Operation will be followed by picnic so bring your field rations. Afterwards some troops may want to avoid dehydration by attending the field hospital located inside 'The Punch Bowl' pub across the road.

An Irish times reporter, Yvonne Gordon, contacted me about Guerilla Gardening too.

Looking forward to Friday's article.
Here in Swords seeds are germinating in places never sowed before. :-)

http://irelandtoo.blogspot.com  not about gardening...........yet. The fine oak trees surrounding Graceland are hardly ever mentioned.
