The Clean-Up day was a complete success. Although I frequently walk through this neglected part of Cheyenne, I never realized how much trash and debris had accumulated over the course of 20 years.

With my shovel and the hands of a few others, my personal contribution to the clean-up was four old tires (all of them deeply embedded), a train lumber banner, some roofing shingles, some deeply embedded house carpeting, and lots of bottles, cans, cups, and broken glass.

About 150 people participated, and we each were rewarded with T-shirts, many door prizes, and 75 pizzas from Primo's Pizza.
