Hi ! Just a quick post about a huuuge patch of bare land near me on 'ashfield' in wavertree... massive area big enough to fit a good few houses on has been derelict waste ground since I moved in last year... anyone interested in brightening it up/ putting it to good use? Is cordoned off so would have to be a bit brave to get digging or planting, but think it could use some seedbombing at the very least??? Anyone done any successful GGing in the merseyside/ liverpool area so far? And suggestions for other sites??

I did a traffic island in Warrington - quite a busy stretch so quite brave for a first attempt.  I'd advise you to use prickly plants which are a fair size otherwise they might get pulled up or mowed down as mine did.   I made the mistake of putting in plants which would develop over time - they've all been pulled up now, after a letter from the council complaining to Richard Reynolds via this site (I'd left an anonymous GG note.  Friendly, but not appreciated by the jobsworths at the council).  Good luck.  I'll keep an eye out when I'm next in the area

Re: Ashfield
I think I know the place your talking about. Not too far from me. What are you thinking of growing?
