Klondyke Garden Centre on Mortonhall Gate (bus 11) is selling bags of daffodil bulbs at 50p reduced from ?5.99 or so.   They are sprouting in the bag and if planted now will flower this year though not brilliantly,  but will be good for future years.

Is anyone free this Sunday 25 Jan 09 to plant some somewhere with me?
