Okay, does anyone actually really want to do something?

Hello all, I've literally just signed up ten seconds ago and want to plan some gardening. I live in Southsea in the scuzzhole that is Portsmouth and would like other people to join me in making it a little prettier.

I know of a few small areas that could do with a makeover and would love for other people to inform me where else could do with a little sprucing up. I'm not entirely sure about how to get hold of enough plants, or if it's too late and cold to plant out anything now, or whether anyone else will join me but i am definately going to do some gardening within the next fortnight and want to continue doing as much as i can.

what i'd like is to know if anyone is willing to join me? or, if there's someone out there already doing some gardening that i can join in with?

I too am new around here!  Just this evening the OH and I were discussing a few spots in Southsea that could do with a sprucing up, and we are planning a bit of covert planting right now. Perhaps we should join forces? A few bulbs can go in at this time of year at least, which gives us time to sprout a few things ready for spring.

I've literally just found out about Guerrilla Gardening and am really keen to get involved! I am currently a TV student at Bournemouth University and am looking for an interesting subject to do a 6 minute documentary on....due to post production restrictions we have to film THIS WEEKEND....anyone up for making bournemouth a prettier place?!
