McDonalds and Burger King offer hamburgers

How many burgers do you consume each day to warrant changing to a whole wheat bun? In one sporadic visit to a McDonald's, whole wheat is not healthier (which is the recommended extent of your visits). Consuming whole grains is a wise choice. However, the benefit of the bun is outweighed by the absurdly large amount of fast food you consume. It would be like to stating, "Why, this strychnine ice cream is fat free!"

A perfect quarter pounder usually tastes better than a perfect whopper. Consistency is one of McDonald's strengths. Almost always, a quarter pounder has the same flavour. Uneven pickle distribution in the quarter pounder is a big mistake. When five pickles are piled on top of one another, I have to spread them out equally throughout the bun, which is annoying.
