Peter Ross has written perhaps the most detailed article on guerrilla gardening I've ever read, which a focus on what's happening north of the border.

Very interesting article. Well done to those in Aberdeen, heard about the photo but in full spread looks superb. Well done Claire & Ewen double and Michael. Hope we can build from this article. Would have been go to see some more bodies on Friday evening but hey, it's a start.

It's a really great article and hopefully will help attract some new faces. The site has such great potential and some fine stuff just waiting to be uncovered. The more people that get involved now the quicker we'll have something really impressive on our hands.

Hi
Yes it is a good article but I'm sad to report that the 'sunflower(s) beside streetlights' mentioned in the article has been beheaded overnight.

The war has only just begun. If only we had a hot climate, I'd be growing "the jumping cholla" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cylindropuntia_fulgida Lovely plants but a nightmare if you brush past one. I got 3 cutting s from Spain in 2005. Amazed to see them planted out on one of those big golfing estates. These plants are truly dangerous and I feel whoever picked them just doesn't have clue what they're in for when young kids and casual walkers start getting spiked and end up in agony and quite possibly hospital.
