HI,  I'm a newbie and am about to plant some seeds and plants in Chapel A.  I like your work in Headingley and hope to improve a local bed which is very neglected.  Best Wishes  Rosemaryx

An interesting blog, especially about a major car corporation's initiative promoting guerrilla gardening.  Though the blogger seems to be based in London a lot of the references are to the US so am not sure if this should be posted in the London forum or US.

An article in The Herald by Jane Gray on Guerrilla Gardening and The Grow Your Own Working Group in Scotland.  Looking at how things need to be changed to allow more people in Scotland to Grow Their Own.

So I was dispatched post  haste to the train station where I had only 4 or 5 minutes to plant the marigold I'd been carrying around all day. All during the Critical Mass, all along the 24km to Szendendre. No time, no time.
Train to town, frantic cycle to the hostel, pick up bag and leg it to the metro.
I think I was still on the metro, or maybe the E200 bus at the time of my flight departure.
I was not a happy bunny, I can tell you....
And I still had my marigold and 500ml of Cappy Blue Danube...

And the reason it's Premium Parking is because of the floral display. Right? Wink

On the Arrivals level. So, Shriya Malhotra, I did some planting at the airport, yes...
The police in Budapest Airport have a keen interest in a person or persons unknown wielding a knife in the vicinity of the airport.
btw, was able to hitch a ride with Aer Lingus. I arm and 1 leg later, that is...

Ok, that didn't happen. Well, not like that.

I DID go to the flower shop and bought a marigold. That much is true.
So I joined my colleagues/friends on a cycling infrastructure joyride/inspection.
Destination: Szendendre via Eurovelo Route #6.

Ok, so I got a little worried when I saw this. Exit Budapest city limits...  Embarrassed

But, I had confidence in our hosts to tell me to leave the party in time to get back to the hostel and pick my bag with enough time to make my flight. Or else....(you know what's coming, right!!?)

Well, an hour later and a "Oh, you're still here?!" Eh, yeah!

Right, I went for a hotspring in the City Park. Very nice, very salubrious.

Then I saw this big empty bed and thought something had to be done...

So, I ventured to the nearest flower shop...and made a purchase...

and returned and got to work...20 mins later.  Smiley

I just used three photos as an illustration.
