Title: How to make a seed planting stick from a walking stick
Post by: seedstick on April 20, 2017, 09:40:08 AM
I would like to share an idea of how to make a seed planting stick from a walking stick, so that seeds can be planted - even in some types of unprepared ground - without needing to bend or stoop down.

Initial tests show that the stick works well for most types of seeds, though it would be more efficient if customised for specific types and sizes of seeds. This version is not suitable for big seeds like acorns and chestnuts, but could handle these with slight modification.

It took me less than 30 minutes to make the seed stick.

I'm sure people on here will get ideas on how to make it even better.

The story is here:
