Hi
i've got a question about "hardcore" guerilla gardening. I have made a plan to grow a sea of flowers in a town after winter is gone - everywhere you would there you should see flowers. My work should least as long as it can so i need a tip which flowers or plants are really persistant and grow fast (except of hemp).
I heard about caraway, poppy or rape should be very persistant and fast-growing... which kind of seeds could you recommend me to use?

heya , poppies only grow when the soil gets disturbed tho ,hence poppy day .personally i am a big fan of california poppy which are cheap and cheerful and self seed quite happily , at a distance too as the seeds POP! open throwing over a fair area.
meadow cranesbill too for the same reason , they take a couple of years to get to size but are great and also eject the seeds a distance , the blue one is less straggly than the pink but both spread like mad. you can get the blue seeds from `landlife ` quite cheap. i grow them in yogurt pots quite easily , 8)
