Title: Propagating your own plants? - Organic Gardening
Post by: JamesA on December 19, 2008, 10:28:46 AM
Should people be propagating their own plants from their garden/areas they've planted rather than buying new plants?
You'd want to be careful not to spread disease, but this would be an organic way of doing things.

If people don't actually want to do the guerrilla planting, maybe they could just provide some plants grown from cuttings or seeds from their own plants.

I have no garden of my own, but always ask friends and relatives if they'd be willing to donate cuttings or parts of plants  :) My aunt's garden is a real treasure chamber!

I think it's a good to take advantage of resources around you instead of buying. And cheap  ::)
