Title: planting sunflowers in summer

hi again!
I've got another question! is it possible to plant sunflowers at this time of year? or is there no chance that they will grow?  ???

I think that they would grow but wouldn't flower until September or October meaning they might be killed off by a cold snap before you've had any chance to enjoy them.
